Big Sur: Bicycling, and other tips, for the Big Sur Coast
The post below was previously published October 10, 2017 and has not been updated. For Bicycling Monterey’s tips on Big Sur, refer to the post linked above.

Joaquin Sullivan, born on Big Sur’s South Coast, opened a temporary e-bike rental and bicycle touring stand in Big Sur on July 1, 2017. After Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge reopens (scheduled for October 13, 2017), his rental stand will relocate to Pacific Grove.

However, as long as Highway 1 on the Big Sur Coast remains closed to the south, Joaquin plans to continue offering the McWay Falls tour, with departures early mornings on Saturday and Sunday. Please give him a little time to get settled at his new Pacific Grove location and to make updates to his website, http://www.bikebigsur.com AKA http://www.bigsuradv.com.

Note that Joaquin’s official business name is Big Sur Adventures, Inc., which is not to be confused with an unrelated business that registered the URL bigsuradventures.com.
