“Driving by Candlelight” with Dan Frechette and Laurel Thomsen

Short link to this post:  http://bit.ly/DrivingByCandlelight

October 6, 2018 was a magical afternoon in the Alba Schoolhouse (a.k.a. Little Red Schoolhouse), built in 1895 and nestled in the majestic redwoods of Ben Lomond, Santa Cruz Mountains. In that historic setting, the new album release party took place for Dan Frechette and Laurel Thomsen’s “Driving by Candlelight,” their fourth album as a duo.
From the performance, enjoy “Mandolino Waltz” below. Experience more of Dan and Laurel’s songs from “Driving by Candlelight” via official music videos for “American Refugee” and “Morningtime Lovers Waltz.” Visit their website to purchase “Driving by Candelight” and other albums, check their tour calendar, and more: www.danandlaurel.ca.

Alba Schoolhouse is overseen by Santa Cruz County’s Alba Park, Recreation and Parkway District. Special thanks to Steve Young, district board member, for graciously welcoming Dan and Laurel’s fans.
Vocalist Shannon Warto (above, seated) joined Dan and Laurel on several songs 10/6/18.

Thanks also to Dan and Laurel for supporting bicycling advocacy by contributing music rights for several Bicycling Monterey videos
