Peace Train at Plaza Linda

Cat Stevens tribute band Peace Train rolls out to the Plaza Linda in Carmel Valley–popular Mexican restaurant and cantina and a HER Helmet Thursdays venue–on Sunday, June 5, 2011 for a 6 o’clock show.

Reservations are strongly recommended, as this band’s performances typically sell out. Call 831-659-4229 for preferred seating.  A $15 donation for Peace Train is requested.

About Peace Train

Peace Train is led by group founder Bryan Diamond, whose vocals, guitar, and piano delight Cat Stevens (aka Yusuf Islam) fans and others who hear Diamond doing amazing covers of the renowned musician.  Peace Train also features bassist Marty Lydon, violinist Laurel Thomsen,  Andy Gilhooley on guitars, mandolin, vocals, and percussion, Tim Bennett on piano, guitar, keyboards, and vocals, and Hiram Fernandez on drums and vocals.  All are musicians whose work is known in various popular bands and/or as solo artists.
