College students like “Back to the Books–and Bikes–in Monterey County.” And others appreciate that summary of local tips too!

MIIS student at HER Helmet Thursdays spot - Cannery Row Brewing - May 2013This MIIS student is ahead of the game. He already knows about the HER Helmet Thursdays project, with discounts on Thursdays for males and females who bike–including at Cannery Row Brewing Company, where he was headed.

Tuesday, August 25,  2015, noon – 1:30  p.m.

Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, a graduate school of Middlebury College, will hold its 6th Annual Information Fair on 8/25/15 to welcome new MIIS students to the 2015-16 academic year.  Nearly 800 excellent scholars from over 68 countries will have the chance to learn about some of the many local businesses and  resources in their new community–including bicycling resources!

This fair, for the MIIS community, will be held at Samson Center Courtyard, 453 Van Buren Street, Monterey.

If you’re part of the MIIS community, come chat with Mari at the Bicycling Monterey table at the courtyard on August 25, 2015. Mari will be happy to answer your questions, along with welcoming your comments and input about biking in Monterey County.
