The Monterey County Probation Department Youth Center bicycle repair and safety class marked its sixth anniversary April 2018.

In this seventh year, more volunteers would be appreciated, including more bicycle repair and maintenance instructors. Volunteer needs also include assistant(s) to the bicycle class coordinator, and no bike skills are required for this position.

Being an assistant to the bicycle class coordinator is a unique and very gratifying volunteer opportunity. Whether you are a young adult or a retired elder, if you are a responsible person with a heart for youth, consider volunteering.
