El Plan de Transporte Activo del Condado de Monterey / Give input to TAMC on Active Transportation Plan

The Monterey County Active Transportation Plan is an update to the 2011 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and will serve as a guide for long-term bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout Monterey County. The deadline for comments is May 31, 2018 [extended from previous deadline of December 16, 2017]. Comments can also be submitted online at: http://bit.ly/tamcatp, or contact TAMC.

Ahora es el momento de compartir su opinión sobre mejoras para el ciclismo y caminar que se necesitan en el sur del Condado de Monterey. La Agencia de Transporte del Condado de Monterey y la Ciudad de Gonzales invitan a la comunidad a asistir a un taller público para el Plan de Transporte Activo del Condado de Monterey el:

Jueves, 1 de diciembre 1 a las 6pm en el Gonzales Police Department – Emergency Services Building (109 Fourth Street, Gonzales)

El Plan de Transporte Activo del Condado de Monterey es una actualización del Plan Maestro de Bicicletas y Peatones de 2011 y servirá como una guía para mejoras a largo plazo en infraestructura de bicicletas y peatones en el Condado de Monterey. En particular, el Plan de Transporte Activo se enfocará en:

  • Analizar las lagunas clave en la red de bicicletas y peatones
  • Identificar sitios de oportunidad para el diseño innovador de instalaciones de bicicletas, tales como carriles para bicicletas protegidos
  • Identificar áreas para mejorar la conectividad regional y local

La contribución de la comunidad es un componente clave del Plan y guiará el desarrollo de proyectos prioritarios de bicicletas y peatones y mejoras en la infraestructura.

Help plan for walking and biking improvements in South Monterey County

Now is the time to share your input on biking and walking improvements that are needed in South Monterey County. The Transportation Agency for Monterey County and the City of Gonzales invite the community to attend a public workshop for the Monterey County Active Transportation Plan on:

Thursday, December 1 at 6pm at the Gonzales Police Department – Emergency Services Building (109 Fourth Street, Gonzales)

The Monterey County Active Transportation Plan is an update to the 2011 Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and will serve as a guide for long-term bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure improvements throughout Monterey County. In particular, the Active Transportation Plan will focus on:

  • analyzing key gaps in the bicycle and pedestrian network
  • identifying opportunity sites for innovative bicycle facility design, such as protected bike lanes
  • identify areas for enhanced regional and local connectivity

Community input is a key component to the Plan, and will guide the development of priority bicycle and pedestrian projects and infrastructure improvements.
